Jaskinie na Jurze zachwycają
O uroku jurajskich jaskiń decydują malownicze nacieki - stalaktyty i stalagmity. Nastrój potęguje oświetlenie podziemi. Z dostępnych do zwiedzania jaskiń najbardziej niesamowicie jest w Jaskini Ciemnej. Chodząc ze świeczką, można sobie wyobrazić, jak żyli kiedyś ludzie. Jura to również inne znane jaskinie, m.in.: Grota Łokietka, Jaskinia Wierzchowska czy Jaskinia Nietoperzowa. Jaskinie w pierwotnym założeniu służyły jako schronienie dla ludzi. Kryją w sobie wiele tajemnic i niejednokrotnie osnute są historią i legendami.
Jaskinia Ciemna znajduje się w Ojcowie przy zielonym szlaku (naprzeciwko Bramy Krakowskiej). Początek zwiedzania to kilkunastuminutowa, dosyć ostra wspinaczka do jaskini (już po kupieniu biletów). Ale warto. Ze świeczką w dłoni oglądamy dużą komorę (prawie 90 m długości) przechodzącą w zwężający się korytarz. Z ciemnych zakamarków wyłaniają się różne atrakcje, m.in. masywny stalagmit przypominający kształtem lwa. Legenda mówi, że gdy mieszkańcy okolicy ukryli się w jaskini podczas najazdu Tatarów, Stwórca ręką zasłonił wejście do niej, by zmylić pogoń. Jako widomy znak boskiej interwencji pozostała wielka dłoń kamienna o pięciu palcach, którą nazwano Rękawicą, Dłonią lub Pięciopalcówką. To skałka przylegająca do jaskini widoczna od Bramy Krakowskiej.
Grota Łokietka jest najbardziej znana i tłumnie odwiedzana. Nazwę zawdzięcza Władysławowi Łokietkowi, który ukrył się tu przed ścigającym go wojskiem czeskim. Pościg zmyliła jakoby ogromna pajęczyna zasłaniająca wejście do groty. Łokietek jej nie zniszczył, gdyż ponoć wszedł do wnętrza po rzuconym obok stosie chrustu. Zdarzenie to przypomina współczesna imitacja pajęczyny. Najważniejszą pamiątką po królu jest łoże, na którym miał sypiać, czyli kawał płaskiej skały. A nacieki na ścianie przypominają olbrzymiego orła z rozpostartymi skrzydłami. Podziemna trasa ma 270 m, a zwiedzanie zajmuje ok. 50 min. Z Ojcowa dochodzi się tu czarnym lub niebieskim szlakiem, które pną się dosyć ostro pod górę.
Jaskinia Wierzchowska jest największą jaskinią na terenie Jury. Ma też najdłuższą trasę turystyczną ze wszystkich jaskiń w Polsce (750 m). Zwiedzanie zajmuje niecałą godzinę. Przechodzi się przez 10 komór oraz kilka rozległych korytarzy. Trasa prowadzi krętym Przesmykiem Długim przez Salę z Kotłami, Hotelik, do największej komory ? Sali Balowej (Tronowej) i Sali Człowieka Pierwotnego. W Sali Balowej odbywają się zabawy sylwestrowe, andrzejkowe czy urodzinowe, przewidziane na ok. 100 osób. Ich dodatkowym uczestnikiem bywa często nietoperz, któremu nie przeszkadza głośna muzyka, a hałas wręcz go przyciąga. Najładniejsze stalaktyty i stalagmity zobaczymy, przechodząc przez Przesmyk Równoległy oraz Salę Pod Hotekimiem. Trasę urozmaicają figury zwierząt okresu zlodowaceń. W sezonie letnim (maj ? sierpień) można tu nawet spotkać człowieka pierwotnego. Neolitos opowiada, jak żyli ludzie pierwotni, czym się zajmowali i jakimi narzędziami się posługiwali.
Jaskinia Nietoperzowa, zwana też Jerzmanowską lub Księżą, od kilku pokoleń należy do rodziny Ferdków. Pradziadek Zygmunta Antoni dostał ją wraz z okoliczną ziemią za zasługi. Nazwa jaskini wzięła się od mieszkających tu kiedyś tłumnie nietoperzy. Teraz żyje ich niewiele ponad 100 (a było już i tak, że zostało tylko kilkanaście). W XIX w. guano nietoperzy (odchody i szczątki kości, bogate w fosfor i wapń) sprzedawano Niemcom. Jaskinia służyła za schronienie łowcom niedźwiedzi jaskiniowych, żyjącym tu ok. 38 tys. lat temu, oraz zwierzętom. Niektóre znaleziska, m.in. kości i narzędzia, są wystawione na ekspozycji przy kasie. Te jeszcze niewydobyte można zobaczyć podczas zwiedzania jaskini. Atrakcyjne wnętrze jaskini posłużyło za scenografię do filmu ?Ogniem i mieczem?. Zwiedzanie ponad 300-metrowej trasy trwa ok. pół godziny.(źródło Renata Majek Dziennik.pl)

Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
